Firefly I saw, it's cool. I think one issue is that it's likely to be very low budget, and probably wind up looking like that Supernatural anime, which may be aesthetically good but lacking. i.e. the best animated shows are the ones where something actually happens on screen. I felt this was evident with X-Men '97, which featured so many more still shots than the original series had. And the original was hand drawn.
Overall, I really don't know if either property is ever truly what it was without Joss. He might have been a tyrant at times, but these were HIS brainchildren.

]]>As a Rockford MEGA fan, this makes no sense to do, but that won't stop them. You're talking about a vehicle that was entirely created back then around the personality of James Garner, not to mention his eccentric co-stars. In one sense, I do miss the old Stephen J. Cannell styled shows, but I don't see how anyone could emulate Garner. IF they go through with it, I suppose the only thing I would find interesting would be placing the show BACK in mid-1970's LA, which I always had a grand fondness for, on screen.

I saw the STARGATE movie and thought it was a good time. I saw the first few episodes of STARGATE SG-1 and thought Richard Dean Anderson was a delight. And then... I dunno, I got distracted. I should get back into it.
I vaguely remember seeing it. Seemed ok, but I remember it getting bizarre near the end. Too afraid of watching the series because I'd feel like a traitor. It's obviously not the same as Sliders but a rookie would think so. Especially since we had the Maggs. Maybe I can overcome my fear one day.
