Unbelieveable. And here all this time we thought it was due to copyrighted lyrics. While you were at it you should of suggested they arrange them in production order.

Closest thing that comes to mind is Sole Survivors but that isn't exact to what you were explaining. Quinn I think just got the antidote and she was talking to him about Steven if I'm not mistaken.

Its beyond insane. Our world is looking more and more like an alternate world. Makes me think about the ending of "Into the Mystic" about the Sliders saying how things couldn't have changed *that* much. I don't think people would recognize our world from even a decade or so ago.

Has anyone else seen it? What do you think? The story was pretty bland for me. The Cat character seemed so out of place, I just couldn't comprehend why she kept acting strangely. She could speak broken English yet still understood quite a bit. Perhaps English wasn't her native language. Compared to Sliders it just felt lacking in drama and also the parallel world differences weren't as varied. The mirror and tree branch description of the multiverse made sense but I felt Sliders actually walked the walk. Doorways had a no petroleum world which was interesting but I think they could have chosen a better idea for a Pilot episode. It did have something going for it in the sense of Thomas and Cat having to navigate to find each gateway (whereas Sliders uses a sliding radius and timer). But having to actually go through a doorway for the interdimensional doorway was odd and would limit itself to what worlds they could encounter (dino world, etc.) Overall I was very let down, I thought it would be much more promising. Apparently George R.R. Martin stated it was Tormé's agent that inquired about writing for Doorways. To say it's an origin for Sliders I think is an insult to Tracy Tormé and Sliders fans. In my opinion I don't think it could have lasted more than one season at best. Thank you Dean Cain.

I'd be interested in buying the game if it wasn't for the mini figures you have to buy. All that is, is a never ending racket for those types of games.

Thanks for all the info guys. TF, that broadcast time for S4 helps too; I emailed SyFy to see if they could direct me to any publications or have any ratings info on the other S4 episodes. I'm sure they are laughing at their computer monitors and I'll never hear a word from them. Pretty interesting that The Alternateville Horror got such a high rating.

Thanks guys. I couldn't find much on sliders.alt.tv as far as 1998-2000. The hof.slidersweb.net helps a lot TF, I've been looking for archives of the Sci-Fi Wire because I knew they published them but it seems like no one has archived them. I guess it will prove tough to find the ratings for season four. I also noticed some distinguishable inconsistencies as far as the Ratings point with 2 reliable sources USA Today and the Broadcasting Magazine for the first 3 seasons especially 1997. I would imagine for Season Four it's possible they were published in some scifi magazine at the time, however most seem to only list the top 20 for cable. I haven't added season five yet but here's what I have so far if anyone's interested:

I've been gathering data and making a list for Sliders' Nielsen ratings. Since they're 20 years old I've been able to find a lot of them in USA Today and a few magazines. Does anyone know if the SciFi channel published their Sliders Nielsen ratings for each specific episode other than the premiere episodes Genesis and Prophets and Loss? It seems Nielsen data (which is controversial I know) is tight lipped and hard to find.

Maybe I'm the odd man out. Personally I'd rather not see a reboot. To me Sliders needs to have a least one of the original characters in it for it to be 'Sliders'. Without that it's not Sliders. Not unless you create something new and name it something like Sliders: TNG. I think the best shot and my hope would be to create a miniseries with the actors that would be willing to reprise their roles. I think there's no doubt you couldn't fully restore the feeling the show gave from its own time period in the 90s. Today it would have to take a much more serious approach. Perhaps the return of the X-Files will get brains cogs to turn. Why wouldn't Universal use the opportunity to compete against the X-Files with a Sliders return. Yes, it's pretty obvious X-Files would win. I mean what does Universal have versus FOX's X-Files. Defiance, the never ending Sharknado series and the great scifi of WWE?

I've been pushing out out more tid bits of Sliders "this and that" through Twitter and Instagram. All the while trying to prod myself to write another episode review.
